As a seasoned patron of Varsity, I've come to anticipate the consistently fresh and flavorful pizza slices that have become a staple of my casual dining experiences with friends. Adjacent to the bustling pizzeria section lies the deli, a treasure trove of wraps, sandwiches, and an array of diverse offerings. Among these, the Garden Burger stands out as a frequent choice of mine. Accompanied traditionally by chips and a pickle, I prefer to enhance the meal with a side of fries, which adds a satisfying crunch and a perfect balance to the burger's wholesome ingredients. The Garden Burger itself is a vegetarian delight, featuring a hearty veggie patty, ripe tomatoes, and crisp lettuce, with the option to add a slice of cheese for an extra layer of flavor. Varsity pizza was very enjoyable. The pizza was fresh and hot. Quick ordering and great college atmosphere. Give it a try!

Syracuse tradition!!! Price right and super tasty and portion sizes are well worth it!!

Pretty solid place for some variety of food. They do everything from pizza to burgers and breakfast with egg sandwiches and such in the morning. It's very reasonably priced. It's not fine dining but it is definitely probably a good little college hotspot.

Really miss the old days here. Great food, great people, and the dining area is so America!!! Every time I walked in there I always yell "Mericaaaaa!!!" Love it so mush!

Went here for lunch before we toured the university. Place was busy and a little confusing when we walked in, but quickly figured it out. There are three stations set up for what you are looking for. I wanted a wrap (pictured) and my daughter wanted pizza (not pictured). Atmosphere was cool, lots of college stuff on the walls and plenty of seating. We went to the wrap station first because it was at the back of the restaurant. Server was friendly and helped me with the options. I went with the chipotle chicken wrap, was made quickly, and paid at the station. We then went to the pizza station and they lots of variety for slices. My daughter opted for two plain slices. When I paid for the pizza, they politely asked if I paid for the wrap, so guessing I could have brought the wrap over and made one transaction instead of two. Was not a big deal to me. I asked my daughter how the pizza was, she said really good! When at the pizza station everything smelled terrific so no doubt that it was really good. My wrap was huge and full. Normally would have only ate half and get the other half to go, but not an option in our scenario. Wrap was also packed, no skimping, and was very good as well! If she decides to go to Syracuse for school, would definitely go back for future meals!

I was traveling with my Mom to Lake Placid & stopped at Syracuse University to meet up with her best friend & old collage roommate. Her roommate said this was the best & most well known restaurant in town & she wasn't kidding! This place has TONS of seating & incredible food options! It was warm & welcoming with just a bit of vintage collage feel complete with the Letter Jacket & all! We ordered a pizza for the table of mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, garlic, & feta. It was hands down the best pizza I've ever eaten! The staff were also incredibly welcoming & very friendly! If your ever in the neighborhood of Syracuse University you NEED to eat here! This would absolutely be a homecoming favorite! Cheers!

I can't believe I'm going to say this (as a proud New Jerseyan no less) but...I liked this pizza! Ok, hear me out: I believe that pizza is a regional food that must be reviewed based on its stylistic peers (eg. New York vs Detroit vs Chicago etc), rather than overall. That said, I don't know how to categorize the Syracuse version on the spectrum of style, so for what it lacks in my ability to figure that out, it tastes pretty good. Crust was thick yet still light and crisp, reminiscent of the pan pizzas of Metro Detroit, but still resembled a classicly round New York pie otherwise (albeit much smaller in size of pie and slice). Sauce and cheese were pretty utility but did the job. White slice also performed well. All in all good stuff, I liked it. Keep up the good work, Varisty!

Love Varsity's! I've been coming here for years! And, it's my favorite place to get pizza in the area! Their chicken sandwiches are also amazing!! I highly recommend this place! The employees are all super friendly, too!
